개요 Overview

본 음악회는 2022년 8월 31일부터 9월 8일까지 독일 카를스루에에서 열리는 세계교회협의회 제11차 총회를 맞아 독일준비위원회가 기획한 세계 분쟁 지역의 사전행사 제안을 한국준비위원회가 수용하여 개최하는 프로그램이다. 주한 독일대사관이 후원하고 세계교회협의회 회원교회들이 주관하여 한반도의 평화를 위한 기도하고, 음악을 통한 세계교회와의 연대를 확인하는 자리이다.

This concert is a program hosted by the Korea Preparatory Committee to accept the proposal for the pre-events of the world dispute area planned by the German Preparatory Committee at the 11th General Assembly of the World Church Council in Karlsruhe, Germany from August 31, 2022 to September 8, 2022. It is sponsored by the German Embassy in Korea and organized by the members of the World Church Council to pray for peace on the Korean peninsula and to confirm solidarity with the world church through music.

준비 과정 Preparation process

2022년 1월, 독일준비위원회는 세계교회협의회 제11차 총회를 앞두고 세계 각국의 독일대사관과 회원교회들의 협력을 통한 인류의 주요 이슈에 대한 사전행사를 제안하였다. 주제는 평화와 안보, 기후변화, 안정성, 건강과 치유, 평화를 위한 여성과 청년의 역할 등이다.

2022년 3월, 한국준비위원회는 독일교회의 제안을 수용하여 한국의 회원교회들과 사전행사를 진행하기로 결정하였다. 2022년 5월, 주한 독일대사관 측과 사전행사로 평화음악회를 진행하기로 합의하고, 독일대사관이 3,500유로를 지원하기로 하였다. 2022년 6월 28일 주한 독일대사관과 한국준비위원회가 지원금에 관한 계약을 체결하였다.

In January 2022, the German Preparatory Committee proposed a pre-event on the major issues of mankind through cooperation between German embassies and member churches around the world ahead of the 11th General Assembly of the World Church Council. These include Peace and Security, Climate change, Sustainability, Health and Healing, and the role of women and young people in peace-building etc.

In March 2022, the Korean Preparatory Committee accepted the proposal of the German Church and decided to hold pre-events with Korean member churches.

In May 2022, the German Embassy agreed to hold a peace concert and decided to support 3,500 euros. On June 28, 2022, the German Embassy in Korea and the Korea Preparatory Committee signed a contract on the grant.
