It also has the purpose of developing the Christian youth movement in cooperation with each individual presbyteries for the continuous church renewal and youth leadership. The Presbyterian Church of Korea Youth which started as the Christian Youth Organization at the auditorium of Pierson Bible Academy in 1924, held its foundation meeting at Saemunan church in Seoul in 1949. It was organized by taking over the reforming tradition of Christianity and the spirit of the Association of Chosun Christian Youth Organization. Since then it has fulfilled its duties to lead the Christian youth movement, empower the youth leadership.
